We built the firm we
wished existed.

Noire places vetted executive assistants with US founders and executives. We developed the hiring process and the management system ourselves, from scratch, after learning the hard way.

Our story

It started from our own frustration.

We tried to solve the problem ourselves. We hired EAs. We got burned. We hired again. After a few rounds of this, we stopped blaming the candidates and started looking at the system.

What we found: the hiring process most people use does not work. It does not test for the things that matter, and it does not give the EA any real shot at succeeding once they start.

So we built a better one. Then we built an onboarding process. Then we built what we now call the Noire Method — a management system that tells both sides exactly how to work together from day one.

Once we had all three pieces, the results were immediate. We knew other founders were going through the same thing, and we decided to make it available. Noire was incorporated to do this professionally.

    We developed our screening process after multiple bad placements, including our own. We test for the signals that matter: how someone communicates, how proactive they are, how they think through problems, and how well they take feedback.

    Hiring the right person is only half of it. Knowing how to work with them is the other half, and almost nobody teaches this part. The Noire Method gives both the founder and the EA a shared operating system before the engagement starts.
